Manuel Fernandez is a real estate investment professional specialising in real estate finance and spatial development, with over nine years of experience advising institutional investors and asset owners on real estate valuation, real estate development, investment strategy, portfolio management and capital allocation.

He joined the renowned real estate consultancy firm Wüest Partner in 2016 and has held roles of increasing responsibility. There he is currently holding a Director position, with responsibility for several client mandates in real estate advisory and valuation, with project management and leadership expertise reaching from strategic portfolio adivsory to specific client project coordination (e.g. negotiations, tenders). Previous roles included Consultant, Senior Consultant and Manager positions focused on valuation, market analysis, cash-flow modelling and project management.

Manuel Fernandez holds a Master’s degree in Spatial Development and Infrastructure Systems from the Dept. of Civil, Environmental and Geomatic Engineering at the ETH Zürich and postgraduate qualifications in Urban Management and Investment Management from the University of Zurich, providing a structured understanding of how real estate and spatial development - together with urban infrastructure - translate into investment performance and long-term value.

Previously he studied Architecture at the ETH in Zurich, holding a Bachelor’s degree from the Dept. of Architecture, while working as as Research Assistant both at the Institute of Technology in Architecture for Prof. Sacha Menz and under Asst. Prof. Dirk Hebel (KIT) and at the Institute of Historic Building Research and Conservation under Prof. Dr.-Ing. Uta Hassler, as well as an intern at Roger Boltshauser / Boltshauser Architects.

Manuel Fernandez ist ein Immobilienexperte mit Spezialisierung auf Immobilienökonomie und Raumplanung und verfügt über mehr als neun Jahre Erfahrung in der Beratung von institutionellen Anlegern und Immobilienbesitzern in den Bereichen Immobilienbewertung, Immobilienentwicklung, Anlagestrategien, Portfoliomanagement und Kapitalallokation.

Er ist seit 2016 beim renommierten Immobilienberatungsunternehmen Wüest Partner tätig und bekleidet dort Positionen mit zunehmender Verantwortung. Derzeit ist er als Director für mehrere Kundenmandate in den Bereichen Immobilienberatung und -bewertung verantwortlich, wobei seine Projektmanagement- und Führungsaufgaben von der strategischen Portfolioberatung bis zur Koordination spezifischer Kundenprojekte (z. B. Verhandlungen, Ausschreibungen) reichen. Zuvor war er als Consultant, Senior Consultant und Manager mit den Schwerpunkten Bewertung, Standort- und Marktanalyse, Cashflow-Modellierung und Projektmanagement tätig.

Manuel Fernandez hält einen Master-Abschluss in Raumentwicklung und Infrastruktursysteme vom Departement für Bau-, Umwelt- und Geomatikingenieurwesen der ETH Zürich und verfügt über Postgraduiertenabschlüsse in Urban Management und Investment Management der Universität Zürich, wodurch er ein strukturiertes Verständnis dessen verfügt, wie Immobilien und Raumentwicklung, städtebauliche Systeme und Infrastruktur sich in Anlageperformance und langfristiger Wertschöpfung manifestieren.

Zuvor studierte er Architektur an der ETH Zürich und erwarb einen Bachelor-Abschluss am Departement Architektur, während er als wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter sowohl am Institut für Technologie in der Architektur bei Prof. Sacha Menz als auch bei Assistenzprofessor Dirk Hebel (KIT) und am Institut für Historische Bauforschung und Denkmalpflege bei Prof. Dr.-Ing. Uta Hassler sowie als Praktikant bei Roger Boltshauser / Boltshauser Architekten tätig war.
